So you want to become a volunteer but don't know where to start. Trust our Board, it's been a confusing start to the year, but we have broken this down to make it simple for you.

If you want to volunteer on campus longer than 20 minutes, you will need to complete a volunteer application and requirements to do so. Remember, these steps are meant to keep all of our kids healthy and safe.

REQUIRED STEPS

1. Volunteer Application - select the button above to begin application or use the url: https://volunteerapp.lausd.net

2. TB Test and your doctor needs to complete form

    (Note - If you have been TB tested within the last two years, you can have your doctor's office fill out the forms with your recent test information, you do not need to re-test)

3. Commitment Form Signed and Dated to be turned in to Main Office

4. COVID-19 Liability Waiver Signed and Dated to be turned in to the main office

5. Be fully vaccinated (1 and 2 round of vaccine) and Vaccine card uploaded to the Daily Pass portal

    (Note - If you have not created a Daily Pass Portal as a Parent you will need to create one in order to upload your vaccine card)

6. OPTIONAL - Flu shot is very much advisable, but again not required.

SCHOOL COMPLETES OR DETERMINED ON YOUR AMOUNT OF HOURS

7. Megan's Law Clearance Completed by Crestwood office - REQUIRED FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL BE COMPLETED BY THE OFFICE FOR YOU

8. Fingerprinting - REQUIRED ONLY IF YOU INTEND TO VOLUNTEER MORE THAN 14 HOURS A WEEK ON CAMPUS SEE THE FRONT OFFICE FOR MORE INFORMATION YOU SUPER STAR VOLUNTEER YOU.
