Our amazing school offers so many wonderful programs, amazing teachers and extra special upgrades on campus that make it a super cool place to learn. But we are still a Title 1 School, so keeping those programs running for our scholars requires help from our families and community to make sure we can do things like:

• Finishing funding our new umbrellas and teacher's wishlists
• Helping to fund our alternative outdoor play area
  Fund our garden project and outdoor classroom
• Continue offering programs with our partners like COPA, San Pedro Ballet Program, Angel’s Gate Creative Arts, Visual Arts Classes, Hip Hop Classes and so much more…    

We are asking our families, community sponsors, teachers, friends, tiger alumni and more to help #keepourtigerscool by donating to our pledge drive and ask if they would give up one simple pleasure, such as their Starbucks coffee, and instead commit to our Tiger Scholars!

Who can join? 

Parents, guardians, those invested in a Crestwood STEAM scholar's education & caregivers of Crestwood STEAM students, Crestwood STEAM teachers, Crestwood STEAM Support Staff, our Crestwood STEAM Sponsors and Partners and members of the community who want to be involved with the PTO!

What is required to have an annual PTO membership? 
Essentially, nothing! Members are required to renew their membership every year, however, members are not required to do anything beyond signing up! If you have the time and inclination to volunteer, we ALWAYS value more help! Members are also not required to attend meetings (though we do hope you attend them to be in-the-know about budget updates, upcoming events, teacher updates, and other important school & PTO-related news!).

There are many ways to participate with the PTO. We realize that families have different schedules and obligations. We are grateful for any support that you have to give!

Here are some ways that you can participate:

Sign up to be a member, receive the newsletters and support the school with your membership
Attend PTO meetings held every other month (see our events calendar).

Volunteer for an event. Find out about events on our Facebook page, website, or by asking a fellow PTO member. We always need help and are looking for new volunteers.

Serve in leadership. Our board members and chairs for events and programs are all volunteers, and we are always looking for members interested in leadership. They are parents, guardians and community members of Crestwood Elementary STEAM students just like you!

We hold elections for board members and find volunteers for chair positions each spring, for the next school year.
